6-8 Weeks!?!

Isn't he adorable? Poor Sid. He has a high ankle sprain, and will be out 6-8 weeks. Poor Pens. Can we make the playoffs without him?? [for those of you who don't know, (i) this is Penguins superstar Sidney Crosby, and (b) get off my blog -- you don't deserve to be here.]

Who Am I?

I'm a Christian, wife, mom, writer, lawyer, artist, intellectual, idealist, liberal, bleeding-heart, hockey fan. Some day I'd like a PhD in foreign affairs and to publish a book about saving the world by saving ourselves. I've got some weird neurological disorder that is as yet undiagnosed. I've got spinal stenosis and degenerative disk disease, GERD, migraines -- and I'm just now learning that these things aren't determinative of who I am. I've got some "issues," but I'm still normal. [See 4/26/07 entry.] I write about all of these things and other random stuff, too.
